Judy O'Donohue has been providing careers advice to students and their families for over 15 years.

With kindness and compassion she brings individuals and/or families on the career exploration journey.

By helping parents understand the process and by supporting students to make informed decisions means that everyone is on the same page. And that reduces stress!

Empowering all career explorers to take the steps needed to start to make informed decisions at critical times

  • Parents ask me every day:

  • What do I do when my teenager says they have no idea what they are going to do with their career?

  • How do I to help them choose subjects?

  • Which is the best pathway?

  • Apprenticeship? University? TAFE?

  • Which course?

  • How do I motivate my young adult?

  • How can I help my teen?

  • How can I get my young adult to study?

  • Where will the jobs be in the future?

And every day I help them:

  • by explaining how  pathways planning  works in simple terms

  • by showing the options and what subjects lead to what

  • by de-mystifying the ATAR

  • by outlining future job prospects

  • by working on a plan together

  • by putting an achievable plan together that has options and works for all

Having worked in industry, in the corporate world, in semi-government bodies, in recruitment, in schools and now in my own business, I have a wealth of knowledge to bring to any conversation.

My favourite part of my day is watching the relief come over the faces of the people I work with when they realise all the stress around career decision-making and planning has gone!

It doesn't matter where you are on your career journey, it is possible to design your life by putting a plan in place that works for you.

I have always worked with people and love building trust with others so that I can offer whatever help or support they may need need.

Being a Careers Practitioner allows me to utilise all my experience and skills so that others can find their way - quicker and easier than I did!

I started my own business after many years in a school when I realised I don't love school rules and bells (what?) and there are so many people that need help that are not just in one school.

When I am not interviewing people and helping them plan their lives, I love meeting new people (and making them laugh) and - when possible - spending time with my family, dancing, surfing, going to music gigs, doing yoga and reading and learning  about the future of work.

I am a Professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) & the Career Education Association of Victoria (CEAV)

I look forward to talking to you soon and helping you and yours make  really good career choices.
