Parents ask me every day:

  • 'I don't understand the ATAR'

  • 'What do I do when my teenager says they have no idea what they are going to do in the future?'

  • 'How do I to help them choose their subjects?'

  • 'Which is the best pathway?'

  • 'University or TAFE?'

  • 'How do I motivate my young adult?'

  • 'How can I help my teen?'

  • 'How can I get my young adult to study?'

  • 'Where will the jobs be in the future?'

  • 'Is this the right school?'

And every day I answer these questions and more to take the guesswork out of the final years of secondary school

And every day parents thank me for making it all make sense!

And every day I remove the stress and mental load that parents are carrying:

  • by explaining everything in simple terms

  • by showing possible options

  • by outlining what subjects lead to what

  • by de-mystifying the ATAR

  • by discussing future job prospects

  • by explaining there is more than one way to get to a desired place

  • by clarifying that it is ok for your teenager not to know what career yet

  • by putting an achievable plan together that has options and works for all

And allowing you, the parent,  to focus on everything else you need to do - knowing that it is all going to be ok!

Having previously worked in:

  • the corporate sector

  • semi-government bodies

  • private companies

  • engineering and technical services

  • selection and recruitment

  • hospitality

  • research

  • customer service

  • education

And as a parent and now in my own business

I have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with you to make it so much easier for you.

Contact me and see how I can help you or your teenager/young adult plan and design their own individualised career action plan.

Take the guess work out of career planning and let me help you help that wonderful young person become an independent adult.

My favourite part of my day is watching the relief come over the faces of the people I work with when they realise all the stress around career decision-making and planning has gone!

It doesn't matter where you are on your career journey, it is possible to design your life by putting a plan in place that works for you.

I have always worked with people and love building trust with others so that I can offer whatever help or support they may need need.

Being a Careers Practitioner allows me to utilise all my experience and skills so that others can find their way - quicker and easier than I did!

I started my own business after realising I can help so many more than I can in just one school.

When I am not interviewing people and helping them plan their lives, I love meeting new people (and making them laugh) and - when possible - spending time with my family, dancing, surfing, running, doing yoga and reading and learning  about the future of work.

I am a Professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) & the Career Education Association of Victoria (CEAV) and a registered Professional Career Development Practitioner with the Career Industry Council of Australia (CICA)

I look forward to talking to you soon and helping you and yours make really good career choices.
